# Privacy

Sovereign self-hosting 

This website does not collect any data in the background. It is built entirely with [free software](https://www.april.org/en/) and strives to avoid unnecessary reliance on third-party services : to date, the only exception is [CARTO Basemaps](https://docs.carto.com/faqs/carto-basemaps), which provides the map tiles for the [location module](https://acp.psyom.fr/en/rendez-vous#carte). It is also self-hosted and fully managed by me: no infrastructure or maintenance providers have delegated access to the stored data. Internet access is provided by [FDN](https://www.fdn.fr/), a non-profit internet service provider committed to neutral service, free from commercial surveillance.

   Private data 

Any data explicitly collected through the [contact](https://acp.psyom.fr/en/contact) and [appointment request](https://acp.psyom.fr/en/rendez-vous#booking) forms are used solely as a means to provide the services you request. They are not processed beyond this scope and will never be disclosed or transferred to any third parties. Data is retained only as long as necessary for my activity as a [therapist](https://acp.psyom.fr/en/) but can be deleted upon simple request sent to <acp@psyom.fr>.

   Trusted infrastructure 

The videoconferencing system used for remote consultations ([Jitsi Meet](https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet)) is also self-hosted and benefits from end-to-end encryption via an HTTPS connection, ensuring a confidential communication channel between you and me. The email system linked to the *psyom.fr* domain is likewise self-hosted: messages sent through the [contact form](https://acp.psyom.fr/en/contact) reach me directly, without intermediaries (unlike traditional email which, unless encrypted, may be intercepted and read at various points during transmission).
